Sega Mega Drive original logo.
The Sega Genesis is a fourth-generation video game console developed and produced by Sega. It was originally released in Japan in 1988 as Mega Drive (メガドライブ Mega Doraibu), then in North America in 1989 as Sega Genesis, and in Europe, Australia and other PAL regions in 1990 as Mega Drive. The reason for the two names is that Sega was unable to secure legal rights to the Mega Drive name in North America. [wikipedia]

Imagine playing this game on your living room TV as your folks make Christmas dinner. You almost got the level beat, then it’s dinner time! A simple yet addictive game, you scale one of New York’s tall skyscrapers as you try to defuse the Green Goblin’s super bomb, whilst avoiding smaller bombs and enemies (including Gobby himself!) lest they cut your line and send you falling down! Once you beat a level, the difficulty is upped with a more determined (faster-moving) Green Goblin and taller buildings!
